Chocolate Chunk Cookies
Makes about 3 dozen
  Needed:
6 squares (1 ounce each) white baking chocolate, divided
1 cup butter, softened
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 package (11 1/2 ounces) semisweet chocolate chunks
or 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
 
1. Melt three squares of white chocolate; cool.

2. In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars. Add eggs, once at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in melted chocolate and vanilla.

3. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture. Stir in semisweet chocolate chunks.

4. Drop by tablespoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 375 for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown. Cool for 1 minute before removing to wire racks. Melt remaining white chocolate; drizzle over cookies.
